MAKING IT ALL POSSIBLE

Rooster Walk is a not-for-profit festival. Just like the volunteers, all of the organizers donate their time in the name of a great cause: The Penn-Shank Memorial Scholarship Fund at Martinsville High School. Without the aid of so many helping hands and community partners, the annual college scholarship for MHS seniors wouldn’t be possible - not to mention the festival itself!

Last year we were blessed with the service of almost 70 volunteers. Since RW3 is gonna be bigger and better than ever, we'd like to invite more than 90 volunteers this go round.

As such, we're offering two volunteer options: VIP and General Admission. VIP Volunteer status will give you access to on-site parking, VIP camping areas and entrance to our VIP hospitality area that includes food and beverage. General Admission Volunteer status will be pretty much the same as last year: Free entry to the festival and free general admission camping.

We never want to ask too much of someone working for free. However, as our festival experience grows, so too do our expectations for volunteers. We think the following requirements are not too much to ask.

VIP VOLUNTEER Requirements:
* $75 advance deposit (will be refunded after festival)
* Working a 3-hour shift on Friday AND Saturday
* Helping with Thursday’s setup OR Sunday’s cleanup

GENERAL ADMISSION VOLUNTEER Requirements:
* $25 advance deposit (will be refunded after festival)
* Working a 3-hour shift on Friday OR Saturday
* Working a 1-hour shift on Friday OR Saturday that will be assigned upon arrival

If you camped in the main camping area last year and want to do so again, please keep in mind that VIP is the only option as the entire area is now VIP exclusive. If that's news to you, check out the map below
