Simply put, Rooster Walk cannot be successful without support from friends and businesses in the community.
Rooster Walk is a charitable organization. None of the festival's organizers will be paid for their services - all money raised goes toward budget requirements such as band fees, event permits, insurance policies, sound and lighting technicians, etc. Donations made to the Penn-Shank Memorial LLC. are used to cover expenses and operating costs inherent in putting on an event of this nature.
Proceeds raised will be donated to the memorial scholarship fund named in honor of Walker Shank and Edwin Penn, while also enabling Rooster Walk to occur in 2010 and beyond.
With your help, this festival will become a yearly event that gives back to the community in an ever-growing manner.
